Citronella Soap
If you want to keep the bugs away use citronella soap. The more you use it the better it works. I didn't believe it actually would work. We went ahead and put it out there and guess what - people started calling and writing and emailing about how their children were having problems getting eaten up by mosquitos (lost a lot of kids) until they started bathing with our citronella soap which we call "Bug-Off". Apparently it works. We keep getting verification and it is totally natural, not like some of the oils they have out there with these nasty chemicals with long and complicated names.
Our citronella soap is made out of food grade vegetable oils and natural butters and grapefruit seed extract and olive oil and all natural things that are healthy and nourishing to the skin the body. Citronella is a pure essential oil. Our citronella soap is also a shampoo bar. Another thing that people tell me they do with it is to rub the soap onto their clothing like their socks and sleeves and hats to give extra protection. A person probably should test for any color fading to the garment although nobody has ever complained that citronella has caused a problem.
