Lemon Soap
We have four fruit soaps that sort of work together in what we call a "fruitcrate wrapper design". The Lemon Soap is one of them along with the Orange Soap, The Peach Soap and the Apple Soap. We have people reordering just this lemon soap time after time. Do I sound shocked? Let me tell you a little story. I started the business when I lived in a small log cabin. I had never even thought about soap before let alone used it. But I needed to get a gig going for myself because my retirement was feeling more like unemployment. So I started a soap business. Upholsterer turned logger turned soapmaker. Natural progression. My first order came from some friends who were chicken farms and they ordered 400 bars of soap. They wanted 3 varieties. Not to bore you with the details, I "thought" up three recipes while in deep meditation, produced it for them and they loved it! Natural born soapmaker. After about three months, while we were vising them they were talking about how much lather the soap made. I said "really"? "Yea, haven't you tried it?" Gosh, it never struck me to actually try the soap myself!
Over the years, after the great revelation of personal trail and error, I have continually modified these soaps to be what they are today. Pure vegetable oils that we intercept on their way to bakeries. Pure apricot kernel oils that are so beneficial to the skin and hair. Pure olive oil that we cart out of Costco. Pure grapefruit seed oil that we can't tell you where we get it because it is so beneficial that the government has clamped down on sources (gosh that surely means it is good). Pure shea butter so good for the skin - do a search on this one on the internet. Shea butter has helped many people to recover from serious burns. Straight shea butter is good for the skin.
